Gophers return to action, take 3rd in Dodge Holiday Classic

The Gophers returned to play in the dodge holiday classic a couple weeks ago. It was the start of the second half and the play off puch, and the end of another year. The Gophers took on RIT on friday night and lost with a final score of 4-3. The Gophers then played on Saturday in the third place game against Air Force. The final score was 2-2. Although the game went into a shoot out, NCAA rules state the game amounts as a tie. The Gophers took third place winning the shoot out. It was the first shoot out in Gopher history. Evan Kaufmann and Jay Barriball noched the two goals for the Gophers.
